Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I am indeed grateful to welcome you to the Old Beaver Dam Baptist Church website. Old Beaverdam Baptist Church is located in Newberry, South Carolina. We have been blessed to be a pillar in the Newberry community down through the years. Not only that, but our church has served as a beacon of light in making disciples for Christ; therefore, the objective of this website is to serve as an instrument which reflects the dynamics of our church. We welcome you to Old Beaver Dam where everybody is somebody, and nobody but Christ knows it all.

Meet our Pastor

Rev. Robert L. McClinton

Rev. Robert L. McClinton was born and reared in Greenwood, South Carolina. He received his religious upbringing at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. His parents are Deacon Robert H. McClinton Jr. and Lillie Mae McClinton who are now deceased. He also served as Chairman of the Deacon Board at New Broadmouth Baptist Church in Honea Path, South Carolina prior to His call into the ministry. He attended public schools in Greenwood and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1971.
